CarFest is looking for the best and brightest Mechanics, Technicians and Parts counter people to assist in repairing vehicles identified by charitable organizations. Our volunteers will have an opportunity to share their professional experience and knowledge with Boy Scouts, local high school, trade school and college students to educate them on the benefits of a career in the automotive industry.

Operation volunteers do the pre event set up, assist with the smooth operation during Carfest, and handle the breakdown at the end of the event. These volunteers have a wide range of skills to include construction, organization, and communication combined with a "git 'er done" attitude.

Community interact with the public and add help to make Carfest entertaining, educational and fun! They assist in the Kids area, coordinating Carfest events, and serve as Carfest representatives to the vehicle repair recipients and free car drawing winners.

Jim Olson an Bob Gomez are heading up the marketing and promotions committee which is one of the five committees that make up the CarFest event.

Our responsibility is to generate the revenue for this non-profit event. Since the CarFest event is free to the public our goal is to generate enough revenue through sales of sponsorships, banners, and booth spaces to give $100,000 to select automotive technical schools.

Our team is made up of volunteers who enjoy working with finances, budgets, compliance, state and federal financial reporting as well as the entrants and winners of the car drawings during Carfest. We are looking for people who have experience in accounting, tax, law as well as people who just enjoy working with the public during the event.
