Presented by South Texas Vocational Technical Institute, this competition highlights the talent, precision, and knowledge required in today’s automotive industry while giving students the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in front of industry professionals, repair shop owners, and the community.

Competitors will battle through timed rounds testing their abilities in diagnostics, tool identification, and mechanical problem-solving — all while the crowd watches the action unfold live.

This event is part of CarFest SA 2026, a three-day festival celebrating automotive culture, community impact, and workforce development in San Antonio.
