We’re a little late on this recap, but the impact of our very first CarFest Toy Drive at Retama Park was too meaningful not to share.


This past holiday season, our community came together at Retama Park for a car meet with a purpose—supporting children served by ChildSafe.


What started as a car meet quickly became a powerful moment of unity, generosity, and heart.

Cars With a Cause Carfest Toy Drive

CarFest is powered by the nonprofit Community of Automotive Professionals, and our mission is to give back through the automotive trade and the people behind it.


Hosting our first Toy Drive as a car meet allowed us to bring our worlds together—automotive culture and community service.


Car enthusiasts, families, shops, and supporters pulled up not just to show their rides, but to give back.

What Was Collected at the CarFest Toy Drive at Retama Park

Thanks to everyone who showed up, we collected:

  • New toys (unwrapped)

  • New clothes and shoes

  • Hygiene essentials like toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, and mouthwash


Every donation went directly to ChildSafe to support children who have experienced abuse and are on a path toward healing.

Each toy and item represented more than a gift—it represented care, comfort, and hope.

ChildSafe plays a vital role in our city, helping protect children and support survivors of abuse.

Partnering with them for this Toy Drive allowed us to make sure donations went exactly where they were needed most.

For many kids, these gifts meant comfort during a season that can be difficult—and a reminder that they are not alone.
